Come dressed in the styles of the 40's and take a Sentimental Journey Back to 1943.

4:15 pm Hangar opens to public

Relive the memories of tonight in the years to come. Wander around and look at the WW II aircraft and memorabilia. Enjoy a Barbeque Plate from Taylor Rays and Refreshments of your choice. Please purchase tickets for food and drink at the food and drink ticket tables

50/50 Split Raffle

50/50 tickets are just $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Winner receives half of the profits from this drawing. Tickets can be purchased at the food and drink ticket tables

5:30 – 7:00 pm

The Kathy Donald Jazz Ensemble - 1940s style show featuring Kathy Donald, formerly of Art Royer’s USO Show. The singers will be accompanied with jazz trio, piano, bass and drums. Sit back and enjoy the songs from the war years as you are taken back to the Stage Door Canteen or some distant outpost during the 1940’s.

7:30 – 11:30 pm

Sun Lakes Big Band Orchestra it’s swing time to the Sun Lakes Big Band Orchestra playing all of your favorite Big Band Music from the war years till 11:30pm.

Costume Contest

Step out in style. The audience will select the best dressed man and woman of the 40’s.

Please Note (It has come to our attention that in the past, several of our Veterans
in attendance have been offended by attendees dressed in German SS uniforms. Please honor their services to our Country by refraining from the wearing of such attire. Please also remember the many that did not come home and forever lie in overseas military cemeteries.)

Swing Dance Contests

Swing out with your sweetheart and show off your winning 1940’s dance moves. Two dance contest 18-40 and 41-over
